Non Profit & Association Fund Raising Invitation Letter
Dear Friend,
I am writing to invite you to consider a paradigm shift pertaining to fundraisers and diversity goals.
When it comes to diversity goals, they can be rather matter of fact and just a series of numbers, policies and reports. Let the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre help you make your corporate supporters’ diversity goals fun. How? By having a corporation interacting with a Black owned multicultural company that will benefit your non-profit. Plus your non-profit works toward its diversity goals as well.
Suggest your corporate donor buy out the house for the December production of “Rejoice ~ A Musical Celebration”-retelling of the Christmas Story. That’s up to 400 Seats reserved for your entertainment that benefits community.
1) A corporation can choose to donate all or part of the tickets (keeping some for their staff appreciation) to your non-profit and you can in turn resell your tickets as a fundraiser.
The corporate donor not only helps the nonprofit Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, the company can also help your non-profit. You can raise up to minimum of $6,800 from ticket sales alone and of course if you choose to seek additional sponsors that amount can double, triple or more.
All you have to do is show up. No fuss and no worry. Have you ever had fundraiser that was tax-deductible and of service not only to your non-profit but also to another one (Lorraine Hansberry Theatre) and the community? This year is the year.
2) Your nonprofit or corporate donor can choose just to make a year-end donation to the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, a 501c3 non-profit that has become a cultural icon for multiculturalism.
Hurry! Let’s speak soon because dates are booking up fast. Join PGE, AT&T and other corporations and non-profits that are benefiting the community and their staff with a “Night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.” Instead of a fundraiser, one major East Bay Church is thanking volunteers with a “Night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre” that includes a reception for their 400 guests. I can be reached at 415 525 0410. Let’s look at some dates December 10-31: http://www.lhtsf.org/calendar.html.
Maybe you can thank your volunteers. Whether 50 tickets or 400, the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre can help you fund raise or say, “thank you” to your key constituents.
If you choose we can arrange to include dinner or reception at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre which is conveniently BART accessible in Union Square housed in the Kensington Park Hotel right across the street from the Historic Westin St. Francis. Please note the attached documents that can help you get started with your vision for your Holiday Party or fundraiser.
Sincerely,
Jackie Wright
