Corporate Invitation to Theater Night for Holiday Party or To Help a Nonprofit
Dear Corporate Friends,
I am writing to invite you to consider a paradigm shift pertaining to Holiday Parties, fundraisers and diversity goals.
When it comes to diversity goals, they can be rather matter of fact and just a series of numbers, policies and reports. Let the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre help you make your diversity goals fun. How? By your company interacting with a Black owned multicultural company.
Buy out the house for the December production of “Rejoice ~ A Musical Celebration”-retelling of the Christmas Story. 1) You can purchase all 400 seats or a portion and use them as your company’s night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre to give your staff a unique and memorial Holiday Party. All you have to do is show up. No fuss and no worry. Have you ever had a Holiday Party that was tax-deductible and of service to the community? This year is the year.
2) You can choose to donate all or part of the tickets (keeping some for your staff appreciation) to a non-profit and they can in turn resell their tickets as a fundraiser.
You not only help the nonprofit Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, you also help another nonprofit of your choice. A non-profit can raise up to minimum of $6,800 from ticket sales alone and of course if they choose to seek sponsors that amount can double, triple or more.
3) You can choose just to make a year-end donation to the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, a 501c3 non-profit that has become a cultural icon for multiculturalism.
Hurry! Let’s speak soon because dates are booking up fast. Join PGE, AT&T and other corporations and non-profits that are benefiting the community and their staff with a company “Night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.” Instead of a fundraiser, one major East Bay Church is thanking volunteers with a “Night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre” that includes a reception for their 400 guests. I can be reached at 415 525 0410. Let’s look at some dates December 11-31: http://www.lhtsf.org/calendar.html.
If you choose we can arrange a dinner or reception at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre which is conveniently BART accessible in Union Square housed in the Kensington Park Hotel right across the street from the Historic Westin St. Francis. Please note the attached documents that can help you get started with your vision for your Holiday Party or donation to a non-profit.
Sincerely,
Jackie Wright
